Link11 Recognized on the Cybersecurity 500 List

The Cybersecurity 500 List is an annual list of the hottest and most innovative providers of cyber security around the world and was first released in 2014 in the US. At no. 395 on the list for the first quarter of 2017, Link11 is a German security expert with the patent-pending DDoS Protection Platform, which prevents more than 37,000 DDoS attacks a year.

Companies from North America still dominate, but European security providers are increasingly attracting the attention of the jury made up of CISOs, security experts, and journalists. In addition to Link11, two other companies from Germany made it on the list of the “world’s hottest and most innovative cyber security companies to watch in 2017.”

“We are very proud to be on the Cybersecurity 500 List. Inclusion on the list also means recognition outside of Europe of how efficiently Link11 protects companies from DDoS attacks and DDoS blackmail. We fend off more than 100 attacks on our customers and prevent data center failures, downtime, and service interruptions every day,”Jens-Philipp Jung, Managing Director of Link11 explains. “We are reacting to the challenges of changing attacker structures and new DDoS vectors with continuous on-going development of our filter intelligence and the steady expansion of our global network. We are also working with national and international trade associations and are actively involved in the investigation of DDoS attacks.”
