Working hand in hand with a powerful team, the management board steers Link11 into the future. Jens-Philipp Jung and Karsten Desler have been building the company and ensuring its success since 2005. Each of the managing directors brings their individual strengths, passions and expert knowledge to the company.
Co-founder Jens-Philipp Jung serves as a managing director of the Link11 GmbH based in Frankfurt am Main and is responsible for commercial operations. He is a renowned IT expert and a contributor to the ICT strategy of the Federal Ministry of Education. As one of the youngest entrepreneurs of Baden-Württemberg, Jung founded his first IT company while still in school. Within the regional section of Die Jungen Unternehmer (“young entrepreneurs”), he works with dedication to promote optimal entrepreneurial conditions in Germany.
Co-founder and managing director Karsten Desler’s responsibility at Link11 is the continuing technical development process. Patents have been filed for three features of his multi-award-winning Link11 DDoS protection solution. Apart from the continuing development of DDoS protection technology, his role encompasses system and network administration duties for the server hosting and CDN services. He co-founded Link11 GmbH with Jens-Philipp Jung in 2005, when he was still studying computer science.
