Link11 Intensifies Cooperation with CBC for DDoS Protection

The IT security provider is significantly expanding its activities in the media sector. The production, broadcast and IT company CBC is using Link11’s DDoS protection with immediate effect to secure its Internet access and the on-premise infrastructure that is used, among other things, for the B2B traffic of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.

Link11, a specialized European provider for DDoS protection solutions in Europe, is further expanding its cooperation with CBC, the production and technology company of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland. CBC has been protecting certain network areas against overload attacks with Link11’s DDoS protection since 2014. Link11 is now responsible for protecting all on-premise networks of the company against business-critical DDoS attacks, and is thus making a significant contribution towards increasing security.

Marc Wilczek, Managing Director of Link11: “The new contract is a clear sign that Link11 offers groundbreaking IT security and that the Link11 DDoS protection meets the requirements of enterprise customers for IT security in real time in an extremely reliable and future-proof manner. This basically means attack detection and filtering in a matter of seconds. What’s more, the contract renewal also demonstrates the high level of satisfaction of our customers.”

Frank Penning, CBC Division Manager Technology/IT and CIO Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland: “We have decided to expand our collaboration with Link11 because we believe they offer the best and most comprehensive protection solution against DDoS attacks. Automated attack detection of network and application attacks guarantees the availability and performance of our IT infrastructure. We have also built up a great deal of trust in the expertise of the Link11 Security Operation Center, which we have been working together with since 2014. We have come to appreciate their flexibility and commitment.”

The Link11 DDoS protection is aimed at the growing number of companies that want to counteract the permanent threat of DDoS attacks in real time and with continuous network monitoring. Only always-on protection, which is permanently active and detects and eliminates dangers within seconds, can ensure 100% security and availability. The cloud-based DDoS protection solution from Link11 works in a fully automated manner. Thanks to AI and machine learning, the company ensures fast and accurate detection of malicious DDoS traffic and offers a high performance time to mitigate (TTM) on the market, according to Gartner’s Market Guide for DDoS Mitigation Services.
