Anexia guards against DDoS attacks with Link11
Anexia, a global provider of managed hosting, cloud solutions and software development based in Austria with five branches in Germany, is starting a cooperation with Link11, a leading German DDoS protection solutions provider.
Anexia’s managed-hosting clients will be able to opt for the Link11 solution to effectively protect their business applications and infrastructure from online attacks. In Germany, Anexia is one of the biggest hosting providers with the Link11 solution in their portfolios. In Austria, Anexia will provide the DDoS solution as an exclusive offering for the managed-hosting sector.
“Both the quantity and quality of DDoS attacks have been rising continuously for years, and many companies are only inadequately protected from these kinds of attacks,” states Stephan Bock, Anexia’s head of sales. “After all, IT system failure can be an existential threat. In cooperation with Link11, we offer our clients the kind of DDoS protection companies can rely on.”
Available scope ranges from one IP address to an entire network area
Anexia has a direct connection to the Link11 DDoS filter with locations in Frankfurt and Zurich, enabling them to operate their own protected network areas. Two versions of Link11 DDoS protection are available to customers: as a web security solution for safeguarding individual applications or as infrastructure protection for entire corporate networks. For the hosting provider’s customers, the available scope ranges from a single IP address to the protection of entire network areas, regardless of the size or requirements of the company.
“DDoS attacks are increasingly camouflaged as regular network traffic, have an increasing attack volume or combine different attack vectors. That’s why most companies are not equipped to successfully protect themselves,” explains Raymond Hartenstein, head of sales at Link11. “Using our cloud-based DDoS protection solution, we successfully fend off up to 10,000 DDoS attacks a month. Our experts permanently analyze the general situation and are able to respond to new DDoS attackers as well as changing attack methods, offering optimum security.”
Anexia was founded in Klagenfurt, Austria, in 2006 by Alexander Windbichler. The IT service provider offers high-quality and customized cloud-hosting and managed-hosting solutions as well as customized software and app development. Also, Anexia runs its own independent data centers. With around 170 employees at ten locations in Europe and the US and more than 85 international server locations, Anexia serves about 10,000 active customers. More information on www.anexia-it.com.
