Preparing for New Dutch Cybersecurity Act: A Practical Approach – 2nd July 2026

Thursday – 02 July 2026 – 14:00 CEST

The Dutch Cybersecurity Act (Cyberbeveiligingswet – Cbw), the Netherlands’ national implementation of the European NIS2 Directive, is expected to take effect on 1 July 2026. Many organisations are still not ready, and the gap between understanding the regulation and actually implementing it remains wide.

In this webinar, Dirk-Jan de Bruin (Senior Lawyer, PIT Legal), Sandeep Gangaram Panday (Security Advisor, Brightlyn), Hassan Mussana (VP Cybersecurity Strategy, Link11) and Lisa Fröhlich (Corporate Communications, Link11) will deep dive into what NIS2 readiness really looks like in practice, using a structured control framework and real-world scenarios.

Attendees of this webinar will learn:

  • Understanding obligations: What NIS2 and the upcoming Dutch Cbw specifically require from organisations, beyond the high-level directive and into practical implementation.
  • Identifying compliance gaps: Where organisations most commonly fall short across governance, operations, and incident response and how to assess your own readiness with a structured control framework.
  • Prioritising the right measures: How to build a practical, risk-based roadmap for technical and organisational measures before the Cbw comes into force.
  • Strengthening cyber resilience: How protections against DDoS attacks and application-layer threats directly support NIS2 compliance — and what this looks like in day-to-day operations.
