WorldHostingDays.usa: Link11 presents DDoS protection solutions for the industry
On September 11 and 12, the WorldHostingDays.usa are coming to Las Vegas. As a leading provider of DDoS protection, Link11 will be there, too, showcasing its solutions for the hosting and data center industry and introducing a DDoS protection platform specially designed for hosting providers.
This year’s WHD in the US will be Link11’s first time as an exhibitor. At booth no. 4, hosting providers and data center operators will have the opportunity to learn about DDoS protection solutions made in Germany (patent pending). The protection solution is available for web servers via DNS forwarding and for infrastructure via BGP and repels volumetric, protocol- and application-based attacks. The comprehensive portfolio of solutions also comprises SSL handling, CDN services and optimization features.
“IT security investments are rising rapidly because decision-makers in IT have realized that their digitalization strategies’ success is highly dependent on availability and performance,” explains Raymond Hartenstein, head of sales at Link11. “The WorldHostingDays are an excellent platform for introducing cloud and hosting experts in the US to our innovative DDoS protection solutions.”
DDoS protection solutions for hosting providers
At the convention, Link11’s special focus is on the new DDoS protection platform for hosting providers. The expansion of Link11’s DDoS protection offerings targeted at hosting providers makes it possible for them to connect to the Link11 DDoS filter directly. That enables hosting providers to resell Link11’s award-winning protection to their customers. With a direct connection to the Link11 DDoS filter, hosting providers can operate their own protected network areas and satisfy their customers’ demand for protection of just one IP address or entire network areas, accommodating any size of company.
With their own protected platform, a hosting provider also has the ability to create their own DDoS protection products, ranging from basic DDoS protection to managed security services based on DDoS protection. Run as a profit center, the protection services in demand by end users are not an unattractive investment, but a forward-thinking protection concept that funds itself.
Expert lecture on the specific DDoS dangers faced by the hosting industry
On September 11, Colin Ball, Link11 Sales Director UK, will give a presentation on the Link11 story, focusing on how a German business originating from the hosting and housing sector now tackles the challenge of DDoS attacks for other hosting providers. The entire WHD.usa schedule is available online: At WorldHostingDays.usa, German IT security provider Link11 will showcasing DDoS protections solutions for the hosting and data center industry.
