Link11 Named as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s Latest Market Guide for DDoS Mitigation Services

Link11, a specialized European in cloud-based anti-DDoS protection has again been recognized by Gartner as a Representative Vendor in its latest ‘Market Guide for DDoS Mitigation Services,1 published in August 2019 for the second consecutive year. The report states “here, we outline the market segments and highlight the differentiators that should be considered by security and risk management leaders when selecting vendors.”

According to the report, “Most enterprises will continue to rely on DDoS mitigation service providers, as opposed to building their own teams of DDoS mitigation experts” and “rather than investing in training personnel and purchasing equipment, most enterprises prefer to ‘pick up the phone and call the experts’ when they experience a DDoS attack.”

The Market Guide also notes that “Gartner expects to see continued growth in this market, which should benefit enterprises,” and that “leading providers have expanded their infrastructure capacity significantly to mitigate increasingly large volumetric attacks.”

Link11´s cloud-native DDoS protection solution for websites and IT infrastructures is fully automated, utilizing AI & machine learning to ensure fast and accurate recognition of malicious traffic, delivering a high performance time to mitigate (TTM) in the market.  In addition, Link11’s Cloud Security Platform provides Secure DNS, a Zero Touch WAF and a Secure CDN to safeguard enterprises’ IT infrastructures and critical web applications.

“Our global network is built to ensure resilience, performance and maximum availability for our customers´ IT infrastructures,” said Marc Wilczek, Managing Director at Link11. “Thanks to our AI-based security approach, our customers are unaffected by today’s increasingly complex, high-volume DDoS attacks, and we believe being recognized again by Gartner as a Representative Vendor validates our commitment to enhancing our solutions.”
